I read and appreciated your essay and already gave you some comments. Again, the main is that I just see an original wording to the actual reductionist conception of biology, based on nucleic acids. See amongst many the selfish gene or extended phenotype concepts popularized by R. Dawkins or the recent book on the evolutionary steps to the origin of life by J. Maynard Smith and Eors Szathmary. Can you ask people to read and discuss your work if you do not read nor discuss their own ? Efforts were made in these books to make them accessible to a large audience.
Did I misunderstand an important element in your essay ?
