Here is a responce to my second request to PubMed Central, this time not
about peer-reviewed submissions, but only about the 'screened' ones. You can view

previous letter, and the entire discussion in the archive, starting with Jim's

I guess, too many good intentions around, and too many hopes, but no real
action.

Dear Dr. Atamas:
Thank you for your interest in PubMed Central. Right now we are accepting
articles only from existing peer-reviewed journals. We are in the process of
putting together an Advisory Board, and one of the first jobs of that board
will be to set guidelines for new journals. The "screened" articles
may come under those guidelines. I expect that process will take some time,
however, as the peer-review system has been quite effective, and determining an
additional review system
may be challenging.
