Using the HBG Forum Posted Wednesday, December 29, 1999 by Nick A
NOTICE:
Dear HBG Forum users,
The HBG Forum is equipped with an automatic sorting system. It sorts the topics in a specified order, and hides the "old" topics - so that they don't get in the way. You can tell the sorting system how you prefer the topics to be sorted. To investigate go into any board on heraclitean and find the pulldown menus that look like this(Dont't try to click here, it's just a picture):

Experiment with it to get accustomed to all of the sorting options. They become really helpful when massive numbers of topics accumulate.

The Forum is very active Posted Tuesday, December 21, 1999 by Sergei Atamas
Our discussion forum is very active. Two subjects that seem particularly interesting to me are on stochasticity in hematopoesis (Common Discussions board) and on terminology (Origin of Life board, Thesaurus topic). Other members, of course, will find other topics more interesting. In any case, the overall activity is record high.

After only a few weeks, I am happy to say that the forum is active and has plenty of messages. I will soon start a board, which will give advice regarding the use of the forum's advanced features, and members information. Again, if you have any questions or suggestions please send them to icey@stay-rude.com.
