JavaScript Virtual Ribosome version 2.1

This software translates your nucleotide sequence into peptide sequences in three reading frames and also starting from the first and second methionines. It also calculates the total numbers of amino acids in the resulting peptides, as well as molecular wieghts (M.W.) and isoelectric points (pI) of the peptides.

Type or copy-paste a nucleotide sequence from 5' to 3' in the "INPUT" box and see the results in the "OUTPUT" boxes. Click the "Translate" button and see the reading frames translated from N-terminal to C-terminal end. Translation takes place until a "stop" is encountered. Click "Window" to see the expanded result in a separate window.
